Microblading treatment

Microblading has become the hottest new trend when it comes to eyebrow enhancement. However if you are researching microblading Guildford (or Surrey), make sure to do your research for the right salon. Your permanent makeup artist should have personal licence, premises licence and insurance, not only training certificates and qualifications.

Microblading, also known as feathering is a procedure used as a semi permanent tattoo to deliver natural looking hair like stokes for patients who lack fullness in their eyebrows or for those who have non at all. Using a fine blade and pigment, the hair strokes are drawn in only using the top surface of the skin. Pain during the treatment is relative.

Microblading  is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing. Shape of the eyebrows is calculated according to the golden intersection and face morphology. The pigment is applied into the surface layer of the dermis using disposable sterile tools.

Your Artist will choose the pigment to match the natural hair or eyebrows colour. PhiBrows pigment is produced with the highest standards, and stays true to colour. It is formulated to match each individuals natural eyebrows' colour.

Symmetry is done digitally and there is no 'eyeballing" of the overall look. The clients eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed. Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hair growth to achieve hyper-realistic look.

Touch Up (correction) is done a month after the treatment, because between 10 and 15% of drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment.

Colour is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself by no means. Patiently wait 7 days for the colour to fade on its own after the healing of the skin. Colour duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour fastness.

On average, expected time until a new colour refreshment is between 12 and 18 months. You always can give your brows a colour boost!
